DBLO Association Receives Approval from Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas

for the Dylan Meier “Get Busy Livin’ Foundation” Grant

Weir, KS— 5/24/2022DBLO Association (Dream Big Little One) was recently notified they were awarded the Dylan Meier “Get Busy Livin’ Foundation Grant through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas.

The $500 reimbursable grant will fund a joint project between DBLO Association and the Cherokee County 4-H Club Sewing Group, under the direction of 4-H Extension Office Sewing Leader, Pam Paxson.  Members of the group will learn sewing skills as they create Dream Pillows, standard pillow-cases, and tied fleece blankets, from materials provided through the grant, for distribution to the children served by DBLO Association.
