DBLO Association Receives Walmart Community Grant from
Weir, KS— December 13, 2022—DBLO Association (Dream Big Little One) was recently notified that the Pittsburg, Kansas, Walmart Facility #5791 has approved them for a Walmart Community Grant. The Walmart Community Grant will support the mission of DBLO Association, to improve the quality of life for children in need by providing clean, new or reusable beds and bedding to children in the local area.
DBLO Association is a 501c3 Non-profit corporation whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children in need by providing clean, new or reusable beds and bedding to children in the local area. The Walmart Community Foundation Grant gives DBLO Association an opportunity to become a small part of a long history of Walmart’s commitment to giving back to the communities where they operate. Mrs. Helen Walton, wife of Walmart Founder, Sam Walton, used to say “It’s not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.” By contributing to DBLO Association’s mission, the Walmart Community Foundation Grant will help us “scatter” the blessings of age-appropriate sleep to more children in the surrounding area.
